Educational Consultation & Collaboration

Through consultation and collaboration, we are here to help review your child’s educational progress, previously completed school testing, outcomes of a parent/teacher conference, team meetings, IEP, 504, or other paperwork to support your child’s school programming. We are also available to attend meetings with school staff to collaborate and provide support for implementation of evaluation recommendations and educational programming. Additionally, we can provide insight into whether or not an evaluation may be appropriate for your child.

Document Review: At MindSpring, we are dedicated to assisting and supporting parents and guardians in understanding their child’s educational programming (Individualized Education Plan/504) and individualized needs to best support their child’s success throughout their educational careers. Equipped with a strong understanding of their student’s needs, the Planning and Placement Team Process (PPT) and/or the 504 process, including the services, accommodations and documents associated with these processes, caregivers become their child’s most powerful advocate.

An IEP/504 Review includes a parent interview, document review, and 1.5 hour follow-up meeting with summary notes. Revision recommendations and draft goals are included as needed.
