About Us

After years of collaborating in schools, the need for stronger bridges between families, care providers, and educators was clear. MindSpring’s focus is student-centered to understand each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Our space is where this connection takes center stage. Rooted in compassion and built on years of school-based experience, our practice blends therapeutic care, psychoeducational evaluation, instructional planning, and collaborative problem-solving—with a strong belief that when families and providers work as a team, all children can grow.

At MindSpring we are dedicated to supporting children and their caregivers on their educational journeys. We offer evaluations, counseling, consultation, parent education and tutoring. With a strong collaborative focus, we strive to empower families with the skills and knowledge necessary to support their children’s cognitive, social, emotional and academic development.

  • I highly recommend Leslie! She has helped me so much when navigating IEPs for the first time.

  • We have known and worked with Dr. Tartaglia for 6 years  She is perceptive, wise, compassionate and solution-oriented, and has such a kind and positive temperament that makes her a natural with children.  As parents, we have valued her partnership and professionalism.   Dr. Tartaglia has made such a difference in our son and daughter’s lives, and by extension, our entire family.

  • I just want to say, if you have a child with an IEP, you need Leslie! In just one session she helped me understand things in my daughter’s IEP that were like a foreign language to me. She guides you, holds your hand, and doesn’t stop working with you until you really understand what your child’s rights are and how to make sure they are being met. Many of us with children with IEPs are trying to understand what that means during a pandemic. She will help you. Leslie is intelligent, thoughtful, and wants the best for your student. She will get you on the path to help your child succeed, not just his year but moving forward to graduation. It is true empowerment. I highly recommend her services.

  • I highly recommend Leslie Davis to help you through this challenging process! She is a wealth of knowledge and will help you advocate for your child.
